The Scottish Government have a £4m Highland Self Build Loan fund!

In April 2016 the Scottish Government announced a £4m Highland Self Build Fund. This fund is available to people living in the Highland Council area to encourage house building. Loans of up to £175,000 are available.

This pilot scheme will run for two years to help those wanting to self build but with limited resources.
